Cyanotype Wet Process Workshop

Service Description

Join Hannah from Carter-Orton Photography on this magical workshop full of alchemy, science and art, designed to introduce you to the basic principles of cyanotype Wet processing, a technique that enables you to use oxides, salts and pigments to create beautiful and unique photographic prints. You will find the technique to be fun, creative and experimental. The workshop will teach you to apply the cyanotype solution in combination with oxides, salts and pigments. There will also be the opportunity to explore layering with your cyanotypes to help push your creative results. We aim for you to produce 5 A5/A6 prints for you to take home, frame or gift. All the materials are provided for you! Just bring yourself and your enthusiasm. Coffee and tea will be provided throughout your workshop along with some tasty nibbles to keep the creativity flowing. The workshop will be based at the wonderful location of Yew Tree Farm in Wootton Wawen at Warwickshire Artisans, a creative hub/shop that is sure to leave you inspired. Please wear clothes you are happy to get messy in. The Workshop is limited to 6 people.
