Cyanotype Wet Process

Service Description

This workshop is designed to introduce you to the basic principles of cyanotype Wet processing, a technique that enables you to use oxides, salts and pigments to create beautiful and unique photographic prints. You will find the technique to be fun, creative and experimental. The workshop will teach you to apply the cyanotype solution in combination with oxides, salts and pigments. There will also be the opportunity to explore layering with your cyanotypes to help push your creative results. All the materials are provided for you! Just bring yourself and your enthusiasm. The workshop will be based in the beautiful location of East Chase Farm in Kenilworth which is home to 'Paint Box Blooms' flower farm, giving us a lovely opportunity to see where the flowers we cyanotype come from! Please wear clothes you are happy to get messy in. The Cyanotype workshop course is limited to 5 people 5th October 10am -12.30pm Please note before; you would benefit from completing the 'Cyanotype Print Making' workshop prior to this workshop but it isn't essential.
