Service Description

This workshop is designed to introduce you to the basic principles of cyanotype toning using natural botanicals, environmentally kind and sustainable, this technique uses the tannins found in plants to create beautiful toned prints. The workshop will begin with the creation of some simple cyanotypes followed by teaching you to how to bleach your cyanotypes, create toners and apply them effectively to your prints. tone apply the cyanotype . All the materials are provided for you! If you have been on previous workshops and would like to bring some ready made cyanotypes to tone then you are more than welcome. Otherwise just bring yourself and your enthusiasm. The workshop will be based at the wonderful location of Yew Tree Farm in Wootton Wawen at Warwickshire Artisans, a creative hub/shop that is sure to leave you inspired. www.warwickshireartisans.co.uk Please wear clothes you are happy to get messy in. The Workshop is limited to 5 people 28th September 1pm-3.30pm Please note before; you would benefit from completing the 'Cyanotype Print Making' workshop prior to this workshop but it isn't essential.
